Girls in modern Pakistan are very keen to get education despite all hurdles. Public sector colleges in Pakistan offers the segregated education to young woman that goes snugly with the fabric of our religion and society.
Government Degree College for Woman, Dubai Mahal Road, Bahawalpur was established in 1986 as intermediate college. The institution obtained degree status in 1998. The building of the college is situated in midst of beautiful lawns and boasts of spacious classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, and an Islamic center, along with work efficient admin block.
To keep the institute facilitated, along the modern lines, the Government of Punjab has decided to start bs program and two years ADP in the college from year 2019 which is under process now. The institute has highly qualified staff with M.Phil. and Ph.D. teachers with invaluable experience in the field and offer best level of education in all departments.
